STUDIO GARDEN

Plants in the workspace are said to increase productivity.

By repurposing old moveable studio walls in room 225, an indoor herb garden was built and monitered by the class.

The tall standing board was turned on its side and a rectangular hole was cut into the top wide enough for 5 x 25 seed trays. A draining shelf was fit inside the container for the trays to rest on the wheels were reattached to the bottom. After a fresh coat of paint, viynl stickers were used to label the pots both on the top of the board and on the front. Each student chose a pot and marked the front of the board with a green sticker.
